Hello and welcome to Anne-V.com!! I’m so happy to have you join me as I build myself up as a person, “as a business woman,” she says as she considers a possible business idea, and/or as whatever else I will become that I don’t even realize is in my future!

A year ago, I was unhappily working in a pharmacy warehouse, determined to get my piece of the “make money from home” pie. There’s a whole story behind what it finally took for me to put an end to that unhappiness and leave that job, but if and when I’m ready to go public with that, I’ll do it in my blog. For now, suffice it to say that in August of 2023, I went to work for a local college. My job is to test websites to see how well they work with alternative computer programs, as a matter of making my employer’s material useable for all, including those who, for example, are blind like me.

I am also an up and coming author. I am a person who loves writing, listening to music, and watching TV and YouTube with her ears. That’s how blind people watch TV and videos, with their ears because they can’t see them. I could swerve off here and hop on a soap box about YouTube videos that have no spoken word, or sing the praises of TV shows with audio description, but again, I’ll save that for a blog post.
